Thomas Q. Brame received his B.S. from Mississippi College in 1976 and his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1978. After receiving his law degree, Thomas returned to his hometown of Bay Springs where he opened the Brame Law Firm in December of 1978. Since then, he has represented clients on various legal matters focusing mainly on personal injury and criminal defense.
Thomas served as the President of the Jasper County Bar Association and presently serves as the Vice-president of the Mississippi Association for Justice (formerly the Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association). He is also a member of the Jones County Bar Association, American Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the American Association for Justice.
